“BASIC X-RAY TECHNIQUES”
This course will be held on September 10-11-12-13, and September 23-24-25-26-27 at MSU-Billings. This 104 hour program, which includes a 31 hour correspondence course, is designed to meet the needs of those persons preparing to take the State of Montana, Board of Radiologic Technologist Limited Permit Exam and the North Dakota Educational Requirements for Limited X-ray Operators. This program also serves the needs of the Registered Technologist who needs a refresher course. This program has been awarded 74 ECE Credits from the ASRT Evidence of Continuing Education Program. Past participants have come from Montana, Wyoming, North and South Dakota, Nebraska, Alaska, Idaho and Washington. Please call the Learning Center for more information.

Continuing Education for X-ray Limited Permit Holders
This one-day program will be held on Saturday October 2nd. Topics include Digital Imaging, Positioning review, and positioning techniques. This program is approved for 6 Continuing Education Credits/Limited Permit holders. Brochures will be mailed in August. Please contact the Learning Center for more information.

Continuing Education for Certified Nurse Aides
This continuing education program will be offered on Friday, November 5, 2010 in the MSU-Billings-Student Union. Topics to be presented include: URINARY INCONTINENCE AND DEALING WITH DIFFICULT BEHAVIORS OF THE DEMENTIA PATIENT . This program has 6 Continuing Education Credits for Certified Nurse Aides. HAVE YOU FOUND AN AUDIOVISUAL PROGRAM YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE IN THE LEARNING CENTER LIBRARY? IF YOU SEE A PROGRAM OF INTEREST:
- PREVIEW THE PROGRAM-OR CALL CLAUDIA AND SHE WILL ORDER IT.
- SEND YOUR RECOMMENDATION AND INFORMATION ON PURCHASING THE PROGRAM TO CLAUDIA AT THE LEARNING CTR.
